In 2009 i spent my summer vacation bicycling around Tuscany Italy with my oldest daughter. We flew from Torp airport in Norway to Pisa in Italy on the 4th of July, and returned to Norway on the19th of July. The trip was so successful that i am planning a new two week bicycling tour of Tuscany in May 2011.
The purpose of the trip was to have an active vacation, exploring Tuscany travelling on bicycles. We planned to take it relative easy, not travelling more than 30km - 50km between destinations. We wanted to be fairly active while enjoying the beautiful landscapes, architecture, and culture of Tuscany. The evenings would be spent wandering on foot and enjoying the local cuisine accompanied by a glass of good Italian wine.
